Real Estate & Housing
The department of Real Estate & Housing is situated at the faculty of architecture at the Technical University of Delft.
Each year the department of RE&H offers the Master track Real Estate & Housing. This is a two-year program. Within this program there are three main specializations:
- Design and Construction Management (DCM)
- Real Estate Management (REM)
- Housing
The program of RE&H distinguishes itself from other real estate oriented programs offered by focusing on the entire lifespan of a building rather that a specific phase. This approach can be explained by the thought that it is necessary for buildings or an area to function within its surroundings and satisfy both the initial client as well as other stakeholders.
The master program introduces students to the design, construction and financial aspects of real estate. Electives offer the student the possibility to further exploit their interests.
From September 2010 students will follow a compulsory first year in which the foundation is offered for the rest of the program. MSc3 and MSc4 will mainly concern the graduation process and will be chosen by the student. This choice is among the three specializations mentioned earlier.
