Information
BOSS provides students with information about the courses within the department of Real Estate & Housing. BOSS focuses on two groups of students:
Students in their Bachelor phase.
Students in their Masters phase.
Bachelor students:
In the final semester of the Bachelor of Architecture, students choose for a final project. Students who choose for the RE&H project usually end up choosing for the Master course of RE&H as well.
Therefore BOSS provides them with information about the contents of the degree itself but also on the three specializations within the department of RE&H:
- Design & Construction Management (DCM)
- Real Estate Management (REM)
- Housing
Next year the obliged choice for one of these specializations will disappear. This provides BOSS with the opportunity to evaluate the information provided to the students.
BOSS also considers involving students in and informing them about RE&H in an even earlier phase of their studies. For example within BSc 5, when the choice for the final project has not yet been made.
Master students:
This year once again the education committee organises along with the activities committee the graduation cafe. This event focuses on students in their MSc1 as well as in their MSc2 phase of their studies.
During this event lecturers from within the university as well as from practice will come and tell what graduation is and what is expected from students. A number of short lectures will prepare students for the last phase of their studies.
